About Me!
Guin Thompson is an illustrator focused on narrative and decorative illustration. She received her MFA in Illustration from the University of Hartford, and is Associate Professor of Illustration at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI. She creates her illustrations using a combination of Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, gouache, graphite, paint markers, sweat, tears, and Skittles. Her client list includes Archaia Comics, DC Comics/Upper Deck, Image Comics, Ravelry.com, and a range of advertising and publication design and illustration. She also likes to knit, attempt to grow flowers, lift heavy things, and fall asleep reading. She lives with her partner-in-crime, two rowdy kiddos and two stinky dogs. (Right now, she’s probably drinking an inadvisable amount of coffee.)
